MOUNTAINBIKING at nearby Coed y Brenin (Forest of the King), has something to offer all levels of mountain biker. There are a total of 5 routes set in the forest, ranging From the 12km Fun route, the famous 'Red Bull' and 'MBR' trails through to the strenuous 38km technical single track of the Karrimor loop which has a punishing 1110m climb.
"The mountain bike Mecca of Coed-y-Brenin forest is home to an ever increasing network of fantastic hand built all weather single track and even a dual slalom course. The technical roller coaster riding will have you grinning like a fool, with stunning mountain views of surrounding Snowdonia and the coast that'll take your breath away." (Mountain Biking Wales)
